Our test procedures:
At Walter Werner, computer controlled processes monitor and document the operations and chemical parameters of each system. Our inhouse, independent laboratory conducts all of the standard test procedures needed to maintain our high level of surface quality.
These include e.g.:
- for corrosion testing:
- salt spray test complying with DIN EN ISO 9227 (DIN 50021) NSS
- cyclic weathering type test (VDA cyclic test) complying with PV 1210 and DIN 50017
- for coating thickness tests and material analyses:
- X ray spectrometric methods (X ray measurements) complying with DIN EN ISO 3497
- coating thickness measurements with the eddy current or magnetic induction method
- for monitoring electrolytes and waste water:
- titration
- AAS measurements (atomic absorption spectroscopy)
- pH and conductance measurements
- for testing coats:
- cross cut complying with DIN ISO 2409
- degree of gloss as defined in ISO 2813, GB 9754-88, and GB 9966-5
On request, we can also issue test records, for instance on coating thickness measurements and long term tests.
